I want to ask a genuine question and I need honest answers. No insults. No politics. Just numbers. Inflation went from 34% to 15%. The naira moved from ₦1,538/$ to about ₦1,345/$. Foreign reserves are at $50.45 billion, highest we’ve seen in 13 years. Stock market did 51% last year. CBN just cut rates yesterday. I’m looking at these numbers and I’m asking myself, is this economy actually improving more than we want to admit? Or am I missing something the data isn’t showing? Talk to me. What do you think?

Let’s talk about why the CBN is slowing down the rate at which the naira is appreciating against the dollar. To some people, it may look like the naira is falling, but it isn’t. What is happening is called EXCHANGE RATE THEORY. Let’s break it down: 👇

The President of the HFX Forum sent me this photo this morning. I dedicate it to everyone who would have preferred I debased and disrespected Nigeria instead of asking that the rules based global order must be respected. Use this photo as a point of contact, so that you can get in the room, have the courage to ask for the mic, the boldness to speak and the sense to articulate your thoughts. Many prayers but still…prayer changes things. KNRGFGGY!

I was having a conversation with my circle this morning, and we all came to one simple truth: life is really just a collection of moments. One minute, everything feels bright, you are happy, fulfilled, and convinced you are moving in the right direction. Then, without warning, another moment comes and you suddenly feel empty, overwhelmed, or like you are not measuring up to your own expectations. It is easy to think these emotional swings only happen to those still trying to find their footing, but even the most successful people have days when they feel they have not achieved enough, or that their progress is too slow. Success does not immunize anyone from doubt, and achievement does not erase the quiet battles we fight within ourselves. What I concluded this morning is that life is never a straight line. It rises and dips, expands and contracts, fills us and empties us and that is the nature of being human. Which is why we must learn to hold both the highs and the lows with humility, gratitude, and patience. Because in the end, life is ephemeral. Moments come and go. The koko is that nothing, whether joy or pain, lasts forever. NB : I am writing this while waiting for my Chickwizz from Chicken Republic.

@grok @rockwelldelphy @DerrickEvans4WV @grok this your response is a lie, you are conflicting with normal crises as religious. Is the ratio of Muslims to Christian killed not more? Did you consider geographical location and it's characteristics. Why are you responding in a biase way? You are supposed to be unbiased..

We need more people in America to realize what’s happening to our fellow Christians in Nigeria. They are being slaughtered & the mainstream media refuses to talk about it. It’s up to the rest of us to force the conversation.

KIRAWA, the town Boko Haram terrorists attacked, displacing over 5000 people, is a Muslim community. The District Head, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abubakar, is a Muslim. THE VICTIMS OF BOKO HARAM ATTACK IN KIRAWA ARE MUSLIMS, NOT CHRISTIANS! Every honest person, REPOST THIS NOW!

It is remarkable how quickly concern for Nigeria resurfaces whenever some in the West need a new stage for their moral theatre. This time a senator with an overly waxed beard and a television comedian have found new applause lines in our pain. Different microphones, same script, same ignorance dressed as concern. There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria. There is terrorism, the same plague that tore through Iraq, Syria and Libya, and now creeps through the very West that many citizens of the world believe once exported it. Nigeria confronts it daily in a few regions, without foreign sympathy or selective outrage.

Nigeria: Many Christians have fled their communities in Kwara State after Islamists again attacked them on Sunday. Government soldiers were stationed nearby, but refused to protect the people, claiming they had not been given orders to do so. Those soldiers were later withdrawn, though they confiscated the guns of local hunters before they left (so they too would be incapable of defending their communities). At least 15 souls were lost. Many others were kidnapped – including children – and are now being held for ransom. This evil is being allowed to happen. Pray for the Christians of Kwara State – they need immediate assistance.

@Imranmuhdz First they said sabotage, no evidence to back their claim. Now they are saying WhatsApp group was used to leak sensitive information. Let the Dangote group point to the sensitive information that was leaked. No evidence of sabotage. No evidence of leaked information.

What led to the dismissal of 800 workers at the Dangote Refinery? According to insiders, the catalyst was reportedly a WhatsApp group that was allegedly used to disclose confidential information about refinery operations. Members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) allegedly reached out to refinery workers, encouraging them to become part of the union with assurances of support and security. To facilitate this effort, a WhatsApp group was established for sharing forms and posting daily updates on refinery operations. Management considered the group to be a violation of trust. Insiders revealed that the content being shared included confidential operational information. Executives regarded this behavior as disruptive.“Reports from the refinery were being shared daily. Management saw it as a serious threat and acted quickly,” source said.
