Pakistan strongly condemns the missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates last night. I express full solidarity with His Highness @MohamedBinZayed. Pakistan stands firmly with our Emirati brothers and sisters as well as with the Government of the United Arab Emirates at this difficult time. It is absolutely essential that the ceasefire be upheld and respected, to allow necessary diplomatic space for dialogue leading to enduring peace and stability in the region.

What unfolded two nights ago in the heart of Islamabad — how the Rangers, who fall under the direct command of the top brass, were used without written orders from higher authority to threaten citizens — has blatantly been a one-man show. The man behind this, Mohsin Naqvi, is doing all of this to allegedly benefit some cronies, while hiding behind the chant: “Pindi wants it done.”

when Pakistan is emerging as a diplomatic winner on the world stage;
and when the state is hoping and planning avenues to attract investment foreign and overseas Pakistani investors.
Yet Mohsin Naqvi staged a theatre that resulted in Pakistan being issued four demarches — because the building raided by LEAs houses diplomats and overseas Pakistanis.
Why the humiliation?
Why ruin the efforts of those trying to make Pakistan win?
Why project such a horrible image of Pakistan to the world?
Questions need to be answered.

Respected CM @MaryamNSharif, while timely regulation of businesses is a welcome step, I reckon gyms and fitness centers deserve special consideration. Many office-goers work out after duty hours only. Health is as important as food, and extending gym timings to 22:00 as well would support a fitter Pakistan.
