Hey @Atrioc @DougDougFood @aidencalvin I’m a Roblox Dev, own a game studio of 12 employees, and I’ve been making money on the platform since I was 13 (I’m 23 now)
Just watched the premium episode of Lemonade Stand, if you guys are interested I’d be happy to talk with you on or off pod to provide some more insight about Roblox, answer any questions, and show you our metrics to help you understand it better.

The backlash from the “Having Roblox+ publish games” makes no sense to me. $5/m to publish on a platform that offers hosting, data storage, and a massive global audience all while making the platform safer? Sign me up, now and forever.
As a developer, if you can’t make that money back with a game then you may need to reconsider some things and assess why you’re actually mad at this situation. Back in the day you used to NEED Builders Club to publish more than 10 games, and OBC (20/month) to DevEx for that matter. And to my knowledge, with this change you’re still able to create and test games within groups without paying anything—just not publish publicly. Is there something I’m missing or misinformed on, because all of this seems rather performative?

@BuildHero literally the same as the multimillionaires on social media that say "life isn't that hard & money doesn't buy happiness, just work harder and everything will work out for you".

You can use the quadratic formula to make homing missiles properly lead and hit their target. I've used this in games for like a decade.
I wish they'd use examples like that in math class. Give practical/fun examples. I hated math b/c it was too abstract. Gamedev made it fun.

Adopt Me is back to being the #1 Roblox game.
Crazy how the game is six years old and still on top. The developers don't get enough credit for that.
