Okay kiddo, think of your legs like two best friends who love walking together. But every step, their insides rub and rub against each other right in the middle! If the pants are snug there, that nonstop rubbing wears out the cloth until it gets weak and tears — just like rubbing the same spot on your toy until it rips. Looser pants with more room for your legs to move without fighting stop it from happening so fast. Happens to lots of big people too!

Hey @grok my boyfriend's pants always tear in the same spot. I'm wondering what could be the reason for this?

Classic crotch blowout from the photo. Main culprit is almost always thigh friction—inner thighs rub together with every step, wearing out that exact seam spot over time. Tight fit in the crotch, lots of sitting/bending, or weaker denim seams make it worse and happen faster on repeat pairs. Try roomier thighs or reinforced/gusseted crotch jeans next round. Happens to tons of guys!

I had once been a victim ooooo 😂😂 Omo, that day ehn… The funniest thing about offenses like this is that they’re not really interested in how many people committed the offense. They’re simply looking for a scapegoat. 😭😂 Fifty people can be guilty, but once they catch one person, everybody else is free to continue their lives while the unfortunate fellow becomes the “example” for future generations. 😂😂

@ultimate_kombo Somehow, I have this strong feeling: if Nigeria had qualified for this 2026 World Cup, we would have been a serious force — and quite possibly reached the final.

Hungry animals united are dangerous. Hungry animals divided are manageable. That is the quiet logic operating in many systems. When people facing the same hardship stay fragmented by tribe, religion, politics, or noise their collective anger remains containable. But the moment hunger unites them across those lines, it becomes a force that threatens the status quo. This explains why division is often encouraged while genuine unity around shared suffering is viewed with suspicion. A distracted, divided population is easier to govern. A united, hungry population demands real solutions. The lesson is clear: our strength lies in seeing the common condition first, not the artificial lines that keep us fighting each other. Until the hungry stop allowing themselves to be divided, management will continue, and real change will remain distant. Unity around reality beats division every time

What exactly were the police officers on the scene doing while all this was unfolding? One of the core responsibilities of the Nigeria Police Force is to restore law and order — not to stand by as spectators while chaos erupts. We cannot continue this “anyhowness” as a country. When those tasked with enforcing the law watch property being destroyed, disputes turning violent, or basic rights being trampled without decisive intervention, it signals a deeper institutional failure.

Senator Lere Oyewumi, PhD.
I express my deep concern over reports of escalating political violence in Osun State, following the killing of Mr. Ajayi Rogba, a supporter of the Accord in Esa Oke, by APC thugs led by Asiri Eniba and shielded by a notorious political thug and gang leader, rather than a recognized police officer, identified as Lukman Afolabi Eluku Anti-Cultism Ayekale Osogbo, Osun State. According to preliminary reports, Mr. Rogba, a committed supporter from Esa Oke, was attacked overnight and fatally shot in the neck by identified assailants. The incident is linked to his involvement in the planning of an Accord rally scheduled to hold in the area. This tragic development comes amid earlier reported cases of violent attacks across parts of the state, including incidents in Osogbo, Akoda, Ilobu, Ilesa, Ile-Ife, and Ikire, further heightening concerns over the safety of citizens and the growing climate of political tension. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the people of Esa Oke, and all affected communities. I emphasize that every human life is sacred and call for a comprehensive, transparent, and impartial investigation to ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice. I further call for urgent intervention by relevant national security authorities, including the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu @TunjiDisu1, psc(+), NPM @PoliceNG and @PoliceNG_CRU, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) @OfficialDSSNG, Adeola Ajayi, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu @NuhuRibadu, and the Presidency, to restore public confidence, peace, and order in Osun State. I also reiterate the need for a review of the security architecture in the state where necessary, urging law enforcement agencies to remain neutral, professional, and committed to protecting all citizens regardless of political affiliation. I stress that politics must never be reduced to violence or intimidation, noting that no political ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian. I call on all political stakeholders to reject violence, embrace tolerance, and commit to peaceful, issue-based democratic engagement. I reaffirm that the Accord remains committed to peace and democratic principles and will not be deterred or intimidated by acts of violence or anti-democratic conduct.

Exactly my point, Sir. Instead of allowing things to escalate to destruction, she could have simply approached her lawyers for proper advice upfront. That would have guided her on the right steps: seeking explicit consent, signing a clear MOU with the landlord, and agreeing on terms for the renovations and any compensation. I also feel something is not adding up in the entire story. The absence of documented agreement makes the current conflict predictable rather than surprising. Property matters rarely end well without paper trail and mutual understanding.

@iamseunalabi @dammiedammie35 My oga. I truly understand your point and agree that we are being emotional about the situation. But let’s also look at it from this point of view: a place rented for a business like this will surely have the landlord’s consent for renovations to suit her business.
