@MikeQbulldogs71 @its_The_Dr When I served food 15% was the standard for great service, and tip percentage shouldn't go up with COL. Inflation leads to food costs going up in a restaurant, not labour costs. Just pay people a livable wage and bake the cost into the meal. I hate eating out because of this.

@its_The_Dr 40% is excessive. 20% is the standard. 25% for very good service. 15% for needs improvement. Horrible or rude service deserves nothing.
