@analyticflying Not that far off for Qantas if you look their Loyalty EBIT and apply a normal PE ratio. This is often cited as a reason why Qantas is undervalued. Though the counter is that Loyalty is only worth that as long as it is part of Qantas.

How much do you think Qantas Frequent Flyer and Virgin Velocity worth?
On Point Loyalty Report says QFF is worth A$ 9.9 billion and Velocity A$ 2.5 billion. Total bullshit though! That would put it at 72% of Qantas's market cap, and 129% of Virgin's market cap!

@mumbletwits Unlikely given the +10 primary vote difference? In SA PV was ~equal and they lost a couple. Conventional wisdom has been ON as solely a threat to L/NP. But ALP vote < 30, L/NP >30 and ON ~20 would be a bad combination for Labor. The equivalent of Elisabeth would be a ONP gain

@mumbletwits On those numbers, based on what happened in Adelaide, Labor would lose seats to ON in western Melbourne. Libs would get what they need in eastern Melbourne.

Thing is is is, for a given ON primary vote
- the higher the L/NP vote the fewer seats it loses to ON (obv)
- the lower the ALP vote the fewer seats L/NP loses to ON (coz more LNP-ON 2cp counts, tku ALP prefs)
- the lower the ALP vote t more seats ALP loses to ON (tku L/NP prefs)

Bobby Hill has taken a big step towards an AFL comeback, committing to a regular training plan. The Collingwood star is back in training away from the club. Hill has been a regular sight at suburban venues in recent weeks, with the company of a training partner, as things take a positive turn.
