@zubymusic Elon- As a hedge against the mounting challenges here on earth outstripping the pace of creating an inhabitable world elsewhere, it is time to create a Western Civilization Procreation and Sustenance Fund - select high potential “investable assets” to be “managed” over time for healthy, productive, kind hearted and values rich long term outcomes. You will be the initial “angel investor” and I’ll help form the executive committee. Together we can save Western Civilization!

The idealization of socialized medicine is misplaced. One only needs to check the actual experiences of those in such centrally controlled countries with serious health complications and evaluate their “state” controlled solutions and treatment experiences to understand why. So what’s a real fix to our health care look like? First take a hard look at the continuing trend of health care service providers being rolled up into a conglomerate controlled marketplace. Consumer choice and ability to influence what, where, when and how much is very constrained by the continuing and some would say alarming trend towards fewer not greater numbers of separate entities offering health care, be it your local physician’s practice or your local hospital. Implement necessary changes to make insurance truly competitive across all 50 states. Such changes should include: 1) 50 state wide health insurance coverage offering requirement for any insurance company operating in the health care business without any premium pricing or plan offering differences allowed between the states (can’t not offer coverages or discriminate with pricing or policy options just because someone lives in a different state) 2) Put the tax deduction for premium payments down to the individual level. Businesses get out of the health insurance business. Businesses save much in the way of reduced size of “benefits” department and pay to the employee will increase as companies no longer spending dollars on employee health care. Individual consumers now making their own decisions create a more responsible, robust marketplace leading to increased product offerings and competition, just as with any product lines operating in a competitive marketplace. Smarter consumer results and with any marketplace with a more informed consumer base, the sellers become more competitive with broader product offerings and more competitive price points. The user of the product is now tied directly to the product choice process rather than have a middle man (companies) get in between limiting competition and making it very difficult to achieve an informed consumer base that has any significant impact on the market. We now have a Joe Consumer just take it or leave it marketplace which is ludicrous. 2) Basic policy coverage requirements should be established for all carriers (as exists with automobile coverages) and then competitive marketplace allows and fosters add-on coverages (as with roadside assistance, rental car coverage etc. etc. in the auto insurance arena and the plethora of insurance add ons in the life insurance field) allowing companies to differentiate themselves and give the consumer the greatest array of choice. Too many special interest groups are profiting wildly off the current system and have far too much influence and control over D.C. Like most things with the U.S. political system as is, the fix for what ails us as a country is not difficult to define but getting the fix implemented is virtually impossible and the individual citizen continues to bear the brunt of the inefficient, ineffective often harmful results. Sadly, no area of public interest escapes this same pitiful result.

American says her health insurance plan is now so expensive, she has to decide if she should keep her insurance or lose her home “I got a letter today from Blue Shield Blue Cross. And my monthly premiums went up to $2,627 a month” She is giving up hope, “If I choose health insurance, I lose my house. If I choose my house, I lose my health insurance — Either way, I'm kind of screwed. And I'm not even mad. I just don't care anymore. I guess there's just no winning”

Iran has been accused of financing over a dozen groups labeled as terrorists by the U.S. and others, including: 1. Hezbollah: Alleged to receive significant funding and weapons. 2. Hamas: Estimated up to $100 million annually. 3. Palestinian Islamic Jihad: Accused of receiving arms and funds. 4. Houthis: Supported with weapons and finances. 5. Various Iraqi Shia militias: Linked to Iran's IRGC. Iran denies these claims, asserting it supports "resistance movements" against occupation, not terrorism. Evidence is often circumstantial, and Iran has taken steps to combat money laundering. The issue remains contentious, reflecting geopolitical divides.

Your statement aeems more applicable to the occupants of the Ivory Towers at most Universities. The woke, leftist view that has been allowed to take over the entire University experience has fostered indoctrination in place of classical education. This isn’t just about the issue of anti-semitism. It’s far wider and deeper and very sinister. And many of these Universities and their tax exempt operating status including their multiple billion dollar endowments now wield great poitical influence, useful in maintaining the status quo with their social re-engineering agenda. Someone should publish an accurate accounting of the numbers of Democrats vs. Republicans in faculty and administrative positions at each of the major Universities across America. The results might astound Americans. Yes, indoctrination and major social re-engineering has become the objective.

Oh boy…..another artist bites the dust, alienating fans who just wish artists like Neil with political mouths rum amuck would recognize their artistry IQ doesn’t automatically extend to other matters. Without the microphone provided to them solely as a result of their artistic prowess and the riches that have followed, they would just be another loudmouth amongst millions pissing in the wind to ears turned deaf. As the Skynyrd boys remarked long ago in ‘74, “Well I hope Neil Young will remember, a Southern Man don’t need him around anyhow.” As true today as 50 years ago. And I have been a huge Neil Young fan since the late 60’s but he makes it very difficult. But tough continuing to be so.

NEW: Rock legend Neil Young releases a statement BLASTING Donald Trump: “What are you worryin’ about man? Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza. That’s your problem. I am not scared of you. Neither are the rest of us. You shut down FEMA when we needed it most. That’s your problem Trump. STOP THINKING ABOUT WHAT ROCKERS ARE SAYING. Think about saving America from the mess you made. Taylor Swift is right. So is Bruce. You know how I feel. You are more worried about yourself than AMERICA. Wake up Trump!! Remember what the White House is? 86/47??? That's what you think about? You are forgetting your real job. You work for us. Wake up Republicans! This guy is out of control. We need a real president! - neil young and many others”

PSA tests are standard fair with men’s annual physical exams, particularly as you age past your 50’s and are also covered by most all insurance plans. The illogical, often outright untruthful babble and excuses that boldly and incessantly come from the Democratic machine never ceases to amaze. That they have support from anyone with an ounce of critical thinking skills and an average IQ is also amazing.

And likely many of the people wanting transparency on tariffs’ impact on pricing on a per product basis are the ones screaming for Elon’s ruin and torching Teslas due to DOGE’s efforts to cut government fat and find and reveal how billions of dollars are being spent- uncovering alarming levels of waste, fraud, abuse and politically destructive spending.

Has anyone studied the impact of U.S. Government Subsidies on the choice of crops grown and choices likely made in the absence of subsidies and publicly communicated the results? Corn and Soybeans occupy the lion’s share of crops grown in the U.S. when compared to all other individual agricultural fruit and vegetable crops despite vast areas of fertile farm land suitable for growing all manner of food crops. Absent subsidies and the use of ethanol from corn in gasoline would the types of fruit and vegetable crops grown in the U.S. broaden? Would this make U.S. crops more competitive both within the U.S. and on the world stage, leading to less reliance on agricultural imports increasing food supply safety within U.S. borders? Would healthier/organic farming choices and advanced farming techniques result ? Would total output and more competitve pricing improve as a result of a broader based, more robust U.S. produced fruit and vegetable market place? Seems there are logical if not obvious answers and alternatives available to these issues. But as with most things with broad and significant economic roots in our country, the preference of concentrated, politically powerful interest groups always seems to overrule common sense wisdom and the best, long term interests of our country and its citizens. And this occurs ad nauseam despite continual election rhetoric from politicians skilled at telling voters what makes abundant and logical sense while acting entirely in an opposing and self-serving manner.

US reliance on foreign imports for fruits and vegetables has grown dramatically. We can't currently produce enough whole food to satisfy our nutritional needs. Today, 60% of our fruits and 40% of our vegetables come from foreign imports.

Is there any study to determine the connection between the rise of a fast food/restaurant/processed food nation and adverse health? Imagine had Avocado/Other “Healthy” Oils been the choice instead of the seed oil list with the preparation of all fast/restaurant/prepared foods. Would such scientific studies, if conducted reveal less adverse health events under the same food consumption patterns occurring since the 60’s?

The rise of seed oil consumption correlates with the rise in poor metabolic health, while saturated fat and meat consumption hardly changed and carbs rose a little. Shockingly, the average American gets nearly a third of their calories from seed oils.

One day not long ago orople couldn’t fathom a one billion dollar deficit. We got to where we are in large part due to a disrespect for the value of all taxpayer dollars. You start by respecting dollar one if you are serious about not ending up in a financial abyss the likes of which most reasonably intelligent people cannot begin to fathom. Good work DOGE. Far past time for Congress, both sides of the aisle to stop their petulant childlike spending spree just to satisfy certain groups in order to ensure their re-election.

How does reducing deficit benefit just the Billionaire class and not all Americans and if you probe deep enough, benefits free market countries and their citizens everywhere? Why the patent criticism of Trump void of any proof that it is justified. To say Trump is anti-American and anti-jobs is to defy what he consistently has upheld very vocally for over three decades, long before political office was a thought. For the Left and their Deep State controllers regardless of Party, hating Trump seems to be the beginning game, the middle game and the end game and however one gets there is justified regardless of facts or destructive results ver time. No wonder the left favors open borders and a massive failed educational system- the objectives of the controlling deep state with its active proliferation of destructive, shallow and hateful points of view - void of facts depends on an ever enlarging ignorant, dependent class.
