Charging at home, like most EV drivers, is a fraction of the cost and fully eliminates the hassle of stopping off at petrol stations.

I post these because car brands won’t. VW ID3 electric ‘range’ — 424km Dublin to Cork — 260km Actual range for me today, from 100%, driving under speed limit — 233km (56% of advertised range) I barely made it to Fermoy at 225km, 5% left (chargers in Cashel full, with queues)

@adrianweckler I did Cork-Belfast return (800kms) on a single 65L tank of diesel in my very efficient BMW 3.0L turbo diesel. I also enjoyed air conditioning, radio and heated seats.
