@FootyAccums Ref overuled VAR in the Motherwell vs Hearts game last weekend denied Hearts a stonewall Pen. It was deemed an honest mistake when they reviewed it on friday. That mistake cost Hearts a win which would have meant Celtic would have needed to win by 4 goals

So the ref has overruled VAR there 😂😂😂

@mysterypet It's not a soft deadline. It's the opposite, as rubber-stamped by CAS. Also, as CAS said, the Forest case was not approved or tested.

This is assault. Straight Red. Referee positioning is excellent. Yet both he and VAR think that the tackle was a yellow?! In top European competition that sort of tackle probably gets you a 5 match ban. Against Rangers in Scotlandbl though

@Sebanovic @rvzucchi @asxcry_ @Craig_Dennett There is clear issues if this is play on, they spent about 5 mins looking at this incident then came to the conclusion it was play on. The other rule needing changed is someone getting a second yellow card, you can't appeal but you can for a straight red

@ianspr @rvzucchi @asxcry_ @Craig_Dennett Sorry I should’ve clarified — of course VAR can award a free kick if there’s a goal after. All goals are fully checked. But if the on field decision is play on and there is no penalty or red for VAR to intervene, the on field decision stands.

This whole discussion and the end decision is laughable. The more you see it, the more you realise how incompetent they really are.

@Sebanovic @rvzucchi @asxcry_ @Craig_Dennett Wrong, VAR has been used for fouls in the build up when deciding a goal. Rangers had a goal chopped off for a for a foul on the halfway line which was never a foul so it is down to who is operating VAR. They highlight stuff and turn a blind eye to others

@ianspr @rvzucchi @asxcry_ @Craig_Dennett No, VAR isn’t used for fouls so as not to slow down the game too much. They are only supposed to bring the referee into it if there’s a red or penalty.

@rvzucchi @asxcry_ @Craig_Dennett VAR is there to look at the video get it on the screen with the clear as day foul then ask the REF to look at the VAR for them to decide but that didn't happen in this case as it was play on

@Craig_Dennett so what some people don't understand here: VAR can NOT award a free kick or a yellow - so if the ref misses a foul outside the box that is just a yellow card like here they CAN NOT help. They checked for penalty, they checked for a red, both not applicable therefore play on

@Craig_Dennett No point in having VAR if the ones on it are totally hopeless. Looks clear avoidance to give a straight forward decision

He should never have been interviewed for the Rangers job never mind getting the job. His press conferences were the exact same as when he was at Southampton and Rangers were nearly 12th Place (Bottom) at one stage but thankfully the team below failed to win. Worst Rangers team ever by a country mile and has the biggest ego which is his downfall
