Burnham has said his first priority in office is ending rough sleeping. Go to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester and look at the awful job he has done there - my opinion has already been well documented after I labelled it a shithole. The people of Manchester agree with me.

Sad news. Newcastle, Liverpool and England legend Kevin Keegan has died at the age of 75. He was diagnosed with stage four cancer in January. One of the all time iconic figures in English football. RIP Kevin Keegan.

It’s already starting. The Kensington palace comms team are working on image building and steering public sentiment for Prince George. After many noted how clearly uncomfortable and unprepared the poor kid was after being trotted out to do press and greets by his parents, their solution is to paint him as a “sensitive soul.” The last time those words were used it was two years ago after William took him (in suit and tie) to yet another adults event to watch Spain v England where he was once again put on display for cameras. It’s bad enough that Louis gets pigeonholed as the rascal and Charlotte as the responsible one to keep her brothers in line. Tragic how royal kids can’t be left alone until an appropriate time when they’re eventually forced to join the family firm.

After wall to wall coverage of Kate Middleton’s Three Peaks Challenge, the reported amount raised for charity was just £1,000 to £2,000. So here’s the obvious question. Wouldn’t the money spent on the security, staff, drivers, helicopter and entire PR operation have raised more for the charity if it had simply been donated directly? A charity stunt that may have cost more to stage than it raised. Make it make sense.
