~5 years ago I started tinkering with hot sauces. Today, I start a prelaunch for LE•MO Sauces 🙌 LE•MO Sauces are a range of honey-based, preservative-free, sweet chilli sauces We have our first batch fermenting currently, and we’ll start bottling in 2 weeks.

I had hoped it was a short-term thing, but Pinelands is now routed through a @CheckersSA @Sixty60_Tweets "dark store" and it's been a dismal affair since 😭 Our ~R2k a month spend, is now < R200 12pm on a Sunday, and already next slot is only tomorrow. Such a shame :/ :(

I feel like the people that first tried to drink the white stuff coming out of a cow, are the same people that saw a scoby floating in water and thought "yeah imma drink that"

Can't believe this is still a thing @CheckersSA I'm genuinely curious why I can't specify the grammage I'd like, with a ~100g window or something. Sometimes I get 500g+, and other times I get 75g. Please okes. We can't plan meals this way :(

Do these ranges have to be so large @CheckersSA? This is either a meal for one, or a family of four, and I have no idea what I'm going to get 🤨 kinda hard to plan a meal this way

@iaremarkus It’s technically not wrong. Yellow or red peppers are just green peppers that are riper, and the riper ones cost more because they take longer to produce so you scored 😀
