Aslinya THR itu pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Soekiman, PM Indonesia dari Partai Masyumi. Dan THR itu hanya untuk PNS/Pamong Praja. Sistemnya juga berupa pinjaman yang dibayar dengan potongan gaji. Lalu diprotes oleh PKI, kenapa PNS doang? Pekerja lainnya harusnya dapat dong! SOBSI (gerakan buruh underbouw PKI) kemudian demo dan menggeruduk pemerintah menuntut THR.

@kamto_adi saya tau pak, gaji jenderal dan tunjangannya memang kecil, apalagi uang pensiunnya (dibandingkan ceo perusahaan swasta nasional)
tapi kok bisa ya mereka2 itu punya harta puluhan miliar, mobil-mobil mewah berjejer di garasi? padahal kan gak boleh nyambi2 kalo udh perwira tinggi..
