@tylerjschoon We also are sitting on 45.8 million in cap. Could add Bitonio to the guard room and will find some quality camp casualties to add some competition in camp. Let’s let the offseason roll play out

If nothing else, center is taken care of for (I hope) 10+ years. I think it was 800-something days between Linsley's last game and them signing Biadasz.
Jocke@Junks1891

@tylerjschoon They got the guy they thought was the best center in the draft. In a year or two he will be starting at that position. Until then they will try him at guard. Didn’t know anything about the player but I trust Hortiz and the staff with the players they select. Love this for #10

@tylerjschoon Yeah, I can understand not having much faith in Strange/Penning/Awosika/Cleveland, but with this OC not putting much value on guards with his scheme this makes sense. If the concern is more of Y2 after McDaniels I share that, but for Y1 we have to let him use his scheme

This isn't a perfect example, but Jets IOL Joe Tippmann only had 11 college G snaps to 1445 C snaps. He started four games at RG before having to play C the rest of the way. Notable is the Chad Alexander connection. Tippmann was taken 44th.
La-dee-dee Mc-Con-kay⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️@SunnySideUp211

Players who were Centers in College who play or played Guard in NFL. A lot of these names I recognize. James Daniels Graham Glasnow Elgton Jenkins ( y’all wanted him in FA ) Connor Williams Caesar Ruiz Landon Dickerson

Toche' on that but we don't know how much say MM had in Miami. Their GM Grier was pretty bad overall and fans wanted him run off badly and then they jettisoned many players when he was run off. MM gives his type & seems they all agree on a player. Don't know if Grier was that way

1000% he does. Of course he does. No one is arguing that. I would also like to point out that the second-round guard he took last year gave up 45 pressures and eight sacks.
Go Utes@bie75125

@tylerjschoon @sd1991x Didn’t Harbaugh say McDanie is the head coach of the offense. I think he knows what IOL he wants in his system more that you or this toxic fanbase.

@alexkatson I like the player and the pick but it doesn't really align with their quiet FA and Hortiz's general "Never go all in" philosophy, surprised they went with him over Parker/Faulk/Malachi.

slept on the Mesidor pick. still don't love it but the Chargers obviously feel as though their window to win is right now and at minimum his alignment versatility will allow them to throw pretty nasty nascar packages at teams. guy plays with a great motor. hope it works out

@callhimbenbacon @krisrhim1 No... We had surplus cap this year. Ed McGuire wrote the contracts so the hard reset was only one season. Hortiz doesn't write fucking contract or spend money.

Q to Joe Hortiz: "Do you think we'll ever see you go on a crazy spending spree in free agency?" Hortiz: "Externally?" "Probably not. Probably not. I just believe in building through the draft and I believe in paying the players you know. That's how I was raised.

It's worth remembering that Mr. Winegard lost his faculty position a few years ago for claiming what yesterday's David Reich paper found: That evolution occurred in the human brain after humans left Africa, and that this drove increases in intelligence in Europeans and Asians.
Bo Winegard@EPoe187

The ultimate triumph of hereditarianism seems to me more or less assured. It is supported by theory and by overwhelming evidence. Arguments against it are now almost exclusively moralistic. Critics denounce; they do not grapple with data.

@Steve_Sailer @KlausJennings @nathancofnas Majority of all technology produced in the west, like 99%, was done by high IQ whites. Isreal has an average IQ of 90 and there is nothing special about them. Most Jewish IQ studies are laughable. 130 IQ Whites outnumber 130 Jews 100 to 1.

@slbrown1239 @Eric_BIGfund @BillAckman Gonna burst your bubble here. American manufacturing was well into its decline before Amazon turned a profit. Another hard pill: American made doesn't not mean premium. It just means higher prices for average

@Eric_BIGfund @BillAckman I’m not an Amazon apologetic … they + Walmart destroyed main street, American Manufacturing and Choice + Variety + Quality in consumer goods …. but Amazon took YEARS to turn a profit … Bezos worked for what he has … at first.

Bezos had the vision, took the risk, and built Amazon from nothing. Since founding, Amazon has employed roughly 11.5 million worker-years globally, paid about $47.7 billion in disclosed cash income taxes since 2002 alone, and its U.S. workforce has likely generated another roughly $35–45 billion in federal income and payroll taxes. That’s before counting the value created for 200M+ Prime members and 300M+ active customers worldwide whose quality of life has been vastly improved by Amazon. And you, in your infinite wisdom, want to financially punish the creator of Amazon?
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

@wil_da_beast630 I just don’t believe women who ask for this stuff really enjoy it, in most cases. They are competing with ever more extreme porn and want to be seen by their partner as sexually wild and up for anything.

@aripolsky @coldxman Military aid is how the industrial complex has funded itself without needing a traditional 20th century war. Israel is an easy customer because of their geopolitical situation. Most NATO countries with iron dome tech haven't needed to resupply to the same degree

@coldxman I have no problem admitting that the Israel lobby is effective. They definitely punch above their weight based on the metrics you mention. But there's nothing necessarily nefarious about that. It's (until recently) popular with most Americans and also in our national interest.

@wil_da_beast630 I think it's perfectly fair to criticize the disproportionate amount of influence they exert over US foreign policy and how and why that happens, but I don't think it's "the joos", which is a ridiculous line of thinking.

Israel is a tiny state a world away, that we value as an ally but give 1/3,000th of the federal budget to. A lot of online right-wing takes seem increasingly hysterical.
Leonarda Jonie@Leonardaisfunny

Pretty sure America doesn't exist anymore & this country is an Israeli colony. Goys are put in leadership positions so we still think we have a country but all of them are employees of the occupying government and all policy is dictated by Israel.

@Erikk_10 @wil_da_beast630 The real reason is all of Israel's "evils" are true of the United States, although I'd argue to a significantly lesser degree given that Israeli aggressions are geographically limited whereas our are all over the fucking map

John Cleese is a perfect example of Dunning Kruger. Spends all his day tweeting incessantly about the evils of Islam, misquoting the Quran, attacking Sadiq Khan, and making points about comparative religion that are demonstrably wrong. Buddhist extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to Burma. Hindu extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to India. Catholic extremists don't kill their religious enemies? Go to Northern Ireland. FFS.
John Cleese@JohnCleese

Does this silly little man not understand that Islam is a very aggressive belief system, threatening death to anyone who does not convert to Islam The Buddhists, the Taoists, the Scottish Presbyterians, the Hindus and the Sikhs and the Confucians and the Catholics don't go
