Today is a historic day for Bangladesh 🇧🇩 I pay tribute to the July martyrs. Their courage and sacrifice made this free and fair election possible. Whoever wins must put people first and implement the hopes and aspirations of the July martyrs.

Spoke to @elliecolton_ on @BBCSheffield this morning about widespread missing post in Nether Edge & Sharrow. Some residents waited 4+ weeks - missing hospital appointments and important mail. This isn’t acceptable. Working with our MP @Abtisam_Mohamed to demand answers from Royal Mail. Residents deserve better.

Working today on a very busy shift at St George's A&E. This Christmas and New Years there will be many NHS staff, doctors, nurses, porters and others, working tirelessly to save lives.

We did it. We have just introduced the biggest upgrade to workers’ rights in a generation. Today our plans passed through parliament, and will soon become law. This is a major victory for working people in every part of the country.
