A huge thank you to @VirginAtlantic for such a thoughtful gesture! We love you guys ❤️ To give you all an update on how Jerry is doing. After losing vision in his right eye from the first stroke and the use of his left side from the second stroke he is making excellent progress. He regained the use of his left side and can now walk short distances, his vision has returned too. His strength and determination is nothing short of remarkable! He has been transferred to our local hospital to continue his recovery and rehabilitation. The road to recovery that we anticipated from his surgery has got longer but we’ll get him back out there doing what he loves ✈️ Gilly ❤️

Dean I appreciate your passion but we lifted and coasted back in the fearsome 80’s turbo days. And pretty much constantly in Sportscar racing at Le Mans and suchlike. Sometimes regulations determine total fuel use, but in any case you never want to carry excess fuel through a race, it’s guaranteed to slow you down. Through the eras the great champions had to manage and protect engines, tyres, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension, driveshafts, fuel load, and now battery charge. It’s all part of the challenge, the best simply have a greater capacity to manage those challenges whilst carrying winning speed.

@mtpennycook …they’ll simply recoup the ground rent loss on more premiums, more electricity, cut back on maintenance yet charge more. Inflate other fees like wishing to own a pet, rent out the property & selling fees. The industry is broken and no politician should be praised until…

We promised in our manifesto to “tackle unregulated and unaffordable ground rent charges”. We’re honouring that commitment today by legislating to cap ground rents at £250 per year, changing to peppercorn after 40 years.
