“I Took a Loan of £75,000 From the UK to Come and Invest in Nigeria Because the Government Said We Should Come Back and Invest. But the Same Government Is Destroying Our Investment. As I’m Talking Right Now, I’m Actually Thinking of Counting My Losses, Packing My Things, Tearing My Nigerian Passport, and Going Back. I Have Friends Who Have Destroyed Their Nigerian Passports Because of Things Like This.” ~ Man Cries Out After His Investment and Business Were Destroyed and Demolished in Abuja Without Any Notice or Warning.💔🤦🏾♂️
Former Chairman of Kumbotso LGA, Kano State, Hon. Abdullahi Ghali Basaf, who was recently removed from office by the court, has reportedly returned to his tailoring business.
Until March 2026, Hon. Abdullahi Ghali Basaf served as the Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area in Kano State.
Following his removal by the court, he returned to tailoring full-time, saying the profession offers greater peace of mind and a more reliable livelihood than politics
One girl I recently started talking to told me we can't have sex until marriage.
I asked her if she's a Virgin and she said no.
I blocked her immediately.
I'm not in for that nonsense.
@General_Somto@lekki8721 No notification was given to you yet you decided to shutdown and start evacuating.
Which means you knew you were doing something off.
Authorities must have definitely notified you, please stop deceiving the public.

You'll hear some people saying they used 100 bags of cement to do just the foundation of a 4 bedroom bungalow.
This is actually one of the reasons, using cement to cover up the spaces in hollow blocks is very wasteful.
Since they're using 9 inches for the foundation, they can use the flat surface of 5 inch solid blocks as the last course of blocks. This will cover up the spaces without wasting cement.
If you're not rich enough, please get people who won't help you waste materials that can be properly managed.

My husband’s older sister has the habit of clapping twice, sharp and loud, whenever she wants me to help with something, like she’s calling a waiter.
I lightly vented to him once: “It’s so disrespectful and it really pisses me off.”
Last weekend at their parents’ house for dinner, she did it again in the middle of the meal.
He went quiet for half a second, then said pretty sharply: “Stop clapping at her like that. She’s not a servant.”
@OloyeSomorin This is why consultants are being paid, artisans always want to work with the clients directly because they know they can get away with it, as a consultant I won’t even let you start painting without taping all the places you’re supposed to protect from paint.
@Morris_Monye@UzomahCProsper Just say it’s not your thing that’s why you deem it a waste, I’ll pick a Burnaboy’s show in a heartbeat and still find it difficult to give 90mins of undivided attention to watching a football match.
@UzomahCProsper Haha. Why would I block you. I care deeply about football and the atmosphere of the World Cup. Not as much for music artiste. Can’t think of any artiste that excites me.
And Peter Obi had attended football games in person several times. It’s just what is priority at the moment.
Not this brother telling me to come to Milton Keynes next week because Burna Boy is performing there.
Why am I wasting all that flight money? Wasteful use of resources. What would Peter Obi do?
The idea of Rule of law is alien to the average Nigerian
The Policeman had to calmly explain and say even if the guys in the office let’s him go, they could get in trouble as the courts is the highest authority in the land.
For people used to lawlessness, he’s surprised seeing rule of law.
