Work on our Roof Project at Markaz AIM is now Underway! 🕌🧱 We were delighted to see the scaffolding go up at the weekend and are pleased to share this with our dear brothers and sisters! This indicates the start of our much-needed ❝Roof Project❞ to remove the old defective roof, which had serious leaks, and replacing it with a brand-new roof, in shā’ Allāh. We are appealing to our 10k+ followers to support us in this essential endeavour! 🎯 Goal: to rapidly raise £20,000 📌 Purpose: To cover the cost of materials and labour. Your donations will help to secure and protect the Markaz for our community now and for the future. May Allāh accept all our fasting and righteous actions, and Eid Mubarak to all. We had another Eid salah with yet another record-breaking turnout. The growth of the dawah here in South, from one hundred or so people at the first Eid Salah, to now having close to 2,000 people in attendance today, in just a matter of years. Additionally, by the fadl of Allāh, half the required money has now been collected, which means work will continue on site. And bi'ithnillah, we will provide everyone with updates soon before one final push, so stay tuned! Inshā’Allāh, this is just the beginning!

We were visited on site by an elderly uncle today who lived across the road. He said since he's got older it has become difficult for him to walk far, and he can longer pray in jama'ah. He said he's been making du'a that Allāh opens a Masjid near his house so he can start going for his salah again. When we informed him of the salawat, duroos and children's classes we have planned, he became emotional and said he'd inform his family so they can donate so we can open quicker for him to re-establish his prayers in jama'ah after all these years!
