Yin and yang. Uncompetitive, monopolised leagues mean teams like PSG and Bayern can be nicely rested and produce games like this. PL teams for whom pretty much every game is tight and difficult and can’t rest players at the weekend probably can’t, no.




This isn’t at all a diss and takes absolutely nothing away from either side, but it’s pretty obvious that these are also the two freshest teams itw. At least among the elite. Makes a huge difference.
