On the eve of #WorldTuberculosisDay, President Droupadi Murmu stresses that Tuberculosis continues to pose a significant public health challenge, affecting millions of lives across the world. The President expressed happiness as the day is being celebrated on 24th March globally to raise awareness about the global challenge posed by Tuberculosis. President Murmu noted that the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan has made remarkable progress in expanding early diagnosis, ensuring free treatment, strengthening nutritional support and improving patient care.

On International Women’s Day, a Tai Chi awareness program was held on 18 March 2026 in Mumbai by Bone Health Clinic, Carlton Hills Tao Tai Chi Qigong, and Padmashali Yuvak Sangha. Fifty participants attended sessions on balance, fall prevention, cognition, and sleep improvement.
