Huge thanks to @iconfinder for their incredible support! They verified my account and handled my cashout (that usually takes days) right on their last day, and even one day after. *I only uploaded a tiny set of 3D icons years ago, but they still chose to help me 🤯 Alhamdulillah

Iconfinder, the company I founded in 2011, is shutting down tomorrow. It started as a side project a few years earlier and had already grown to millions of users by 2010. I quit my job to focus on Iconfinder, raised capital, and turned it into a real company. I’m full of good memories of working with some of my favorite people in the world. Thousands of contributors earned money on the platform, and hundreds of thousands of customers paid for icons. In 2022, @Iconfinder was acquired by @freepik, and now it’s time to sunset the service. A few of the Iconfinder team members and I are still happily employed at @freepik, where we’re fully focused on AI - and there’s an excellent substitute for Iconfinder in @flaticon. It has been a project of love from day one. Thank you to everyone who has used @Iconfinder, and to all the employees (past and present) and contributors. Martin LeBlanc
