if you're running codex CLI, go check this path right now: ~/.codex/logs_2.sqlite ~/.codex/logs_2.sqlite-wal ~/.codex/logs_2.sqlite-shm since february, codex has been writing every single websocket event and telemetry trace to a local SQLite database at TRACE level. estimated write volume: ~640TB per year. on your SSD. the file looks small because it constantly deletes and rewrites itself. your disk thinks it's fine. your SSD lifespan disagrees. but the crazy part is that when your disk gets full during a /goal session, codex starts deleting your actual files just to free up space. Your own code. Your own folders. Just like that, they’re gone. go check. delete those files. you'll thank me later.
