It’s time. I am officially retiring from Professional @GearsEsports. Over the years I got to travel all over the world and compete doing what I love. Thank you for the support through all my highs and lows. I’m blessed to have achieved all that I have. ❤️

I think people are gonna love Horde but can we please get PvP too? So many people have been looking forward to trying out Multiplayer @Community_Gears

Some advice from someone who’s done about all there is to do in gaming over the years… Create content. Short form, long form, doesn’t matter—just do something and do it consistently. I know there’s people out there that want to be the next Faker, but I promise you content is the way. My biggest regret is not locking in sooner, especially during the OpTic days and all the success that we found. If you want to play video games for a living (which I would very much not recommend), you need to be making content. Gears people, you know I love ya. I want nothing more than to see Esports come back but unfortunately I highly doubt it’s going to happen. If we want any chance in the future we need to make sure we push E-Day as much as possible. Upload. Stream. Everything. ❤️ TC, please listen to your player base. This is it, 7 years between games. Cant miss with this one. Here to help whenever 🤷‍♂️

So well-said, proud of the leader and person you’ve become Nick. but also having flashbacks to the countless times I tried old man lecturing you and the rest of OpTic & Envy/Echo Fox on this exact topic at the beginning of Gears 4 esports Problem was how much prize pool ended up being put into Gears esports. It created an over inflated bubble and incentivized y’all to play and compete more than to make content to grow Gears and your brands Was great for a quick short term buck for a few who def deserved it, but terrible for Gears and its longevity

Being a pro gamer for almost 15 years made me realize there is a huge difference between work friends and real friends and it permanently changed how I use that term especially now that I’m not competing, cherish the real ones and check in on them
