@ZuTeilen @jordibruin Hi, another dev of MacWhisper here, I'm just curious if you're running Sonoma or Sequoia? Would love to fix this issue! Thanks

@jordibruin I still love the dictation feature. The problem I get quite often, though, is that the beginning of the sentence is a little bit screwed up. I'm on the latest version 10.3.1. I'm using MacWhisper, primarily in Slack and Linear - I'm not sure if this place is all here though.

I didn't write this tweet; I just said it out loud and had MacWhisper transcribe it for me. I'm using a shortcut called Caps Lock + R. Whenever I press it, a little blue pop-up appears, which means I can start speaking. When I press Caps Lock + R again, it stops recording, transcribes it, and also cleans up the text, fixing any hesitations or weird sentence structures automatically.

Yesterday I joined a lunch at the Developer Center in Cupertino with around 20 other people from the Apple community. We discussed what we think can be improved about WWDC with the Developer Relations leadership team. We discussed these topics in smaller groups and then did a very honest Q&A where there was also space for things that can be improved. Some key points that came up: - How Labs can be improved - The upsides and downsides between physical and virtual ones - How to make it easier for people to engage with (the right) engineers during WWDC - Ways in which the developer forums can be used - How you can now post TSIs directly to the forums so they are publicly visible (if you have questions about your code you can always switch to private email ofcourse) - The need for a developer homebase/hub/lightning rod for us all to congregate during the rest of the WWDC week so that we don't scatter to different places. I'm curious to hear from other people who attended this year what they think can be improved for next year's edition!

@jordibruin When transcribing videos, do I need to make any special settings for video display? Because when I am running version 8.0, I cannot call the same real-time video display interface as yours.

Spent the whole day on an AVPlayer crash where it would crash the app when connected to AirPods. But only on my Mac and not on @id. Even when we removed literally all code in the project except for a single VideoPlayer, it still crashes. That same line in a new project, works fine. Notarising the stripped project leads to an app that crashes on launch for some other reason. Time for a TSI it seems. Anyone else ran into this on macOS?

@vernons That’s a good one, will add in next release! And good idea, will add a link to a GitHub repo for feedback. Thanks!

Congratulations on shipping! One quick suggestion is to add search/filter for items. As the list of things one might bring gets longer, that will be important. Have you considered using Canny (too expensive for my tastes, but a great tool) or GitHub projects to collect feedback?

Hurray, I shipped! Introducing Packs, an app for keeping track of packing lists and for packing for your next trip. Packing is easier when you have a plan! (v1.0, would love some feedback!🎒) apps.apple.com/en/app/packs-q…

@id One of the biggest improvements to my packing experience was tagging every item with the room that it is in (or multiple rooms if it doesn't have a fixed place) and then being able to go in room by room and grab everything I need at once.

@id Congrats on shipping 🚀 I love the icon and the overall UI. One tiny thing: You use Title Case in all screenshots, but not in the second one. This could perhaps be adjusted 👍
