Maj. Benjamin (Benji) Trakeniski, 32-year-old British Israeli hero. He woke up on October 7th, took his friends with him, and rushed to Kibbutz Be'eri. He and his friends were the first to go into Kibbutz Be'eri. Benjamin and his team rescued 50 wounded people from the clutches of Hamas while under fire. Going in and out of the Kibbutz while reducing the number of people, eventually, Benji was killed by Hamas terrorists' fire. Who do you think the British public would side with today, Benjamin or the monsters who came to murder the babies of Kibbutz Be'eri? I am sad to think about that answer. We will always remember Benjamin's heroism. @BoardofDeputies

It's 37°C IN THE SHADE on our patio this afternoon. If you are one of those utter idiots walking your dog you are clinically insane. And cruel. No dog has ever died NOT having a walk... @Ralph_Retriever is keeping cool on his ice mat which has been in the freezer for an hour.

As the father of three daughters I can imagine how he feels. Darren we need politicians to feel the visceral pain of others. We need to bring change for all loving families across the country. Our families safety must be given the highest priority in government. It must define actions, legal judgements, government policy. As Grace’s father, can you see how hard it is to see ones daughter as a victim of an avoidable attack. How heartbreaking it is to live with. Grace was and is the love of my life. I’m a father like you, our children, our families, our friends must all be safe from avoidable harm of any type. Work with us to get this right. Mental health related homicide must be brought to an end in our country. Management of those who harm others must be flawless and consultant psychiatrists who manage this cohort of patients must review every patient on their books. Reassess risk and manage with resolve. If not they must know they will be held to account. The likes Nottingham attacks must never happen again.

עוד לוחם משוחרר שלצערנו הוכרע על ידי הפוסט טראומה- אלכס מילר היה לוחם אמיץ שלמרות היותו בן יחיד התעקש לשרת ביחידה קרבית מתוך אהבה אמיתית למדינה. בשנת 2022 נפצע באורח בינוני בפיגוע דריסה בכניסה למתחם האימונים בנבי מוסא. ולמרות הקושי והכאב, גילה תעצומות נפש, התעקש להחלים ולשוב ליחידתו כדי להמשיך לשרת לצד חבריו שאהבו אותו מאוד. הוא אמנם השתקם מהפציעה הפיזית, אבל גם כשלא הראה את זה כלפי חוץ, הפציעה הנפשית נותרה בפנים עמוק. וכשחברו הקרוב רס"ל במיל' נועם שמש נפל במלחמה בעזה הוא נשבר פעם נוספת. הפוסט טראומה היא רוצח שקט, וכשלא מטפלים בה היא גודלת והופכת לפצצה מתקתקת. אלכס שם קץ לחייו בסוך השבוע בעודו בן 23 בלבד אחרי שלא היה מסוגל יותר להתמודד לבד. יש עוד המון לוחמים שחזרו מהחזיתות ומסתובבים מסביב עם פוסט טראומה כזו בתוכם. אל תזניחו, תטפלו בזה, תצילו את עצמכם! וזו גם אחריות של כולנו מסביב לשים לב לחברים בסביבה, לזהות מי צריך עזרה. וזו בראש ובראשונה אחריות של המדינה שלנו לתת מענה לכל הלומי הקרב ונפגעי הפוסט טראומה, אלה שנשלחו להילחם למעננו ועכשיו צריך שהמדינה תילחם למענם, למען הבריאות הנפשית והשיקום שלהם. יהי זכרו של אלכס ברוך🕯
