@idekdoggy But, who knows what the IDF wants. The IDF continues to get closer to Damascus. The closer the IDF gets to Damascus, the harder it is for HTS to ignore the invasion and the harder it will be for HTS to keep the leash on its more radical members.

HTS doesn’t have the capability to confront the IDF. But, they have the capability to deal with the SNA. It would go a long way to reassure the Kurds of HTS' promises of minority protection and get rid of a possible future source of instability.
