some thoughts on $zec people been so adamant on shorting the only coin that has been running against the market for 2 weeks straight when they could have shorted virtually anything else and won big i think its vanity/pride kind of thing, u want to be the smart guy who sees through the hype and bet against the herd but oftentimes there is a misunderstanding of the underlying reasons for a coin outperforming, usually there is narrative on ct but the real drivers of pumps are mostly known to a few insiders only. but there is always some reason why something leads so you are essentially clueless of what is going on but betting that whatever it is, it will fail and you can also time it, that is not smart sometimes there is signs like exorbitant volume and stalling momentum but even if you think this is the time to go short it to 0, its much better to short the betas/derivatives instead of the main those are the coins that went up purely on chasing fomo without the fundamental driver the original coin has and will crater the hardest as soon as momentum slows clearly zec pumps for a reason dash, decred, zen, rail, aleo probably dont have the same fundamental behind if you think its topped and have to short, dash looks juicier imo im personally not touching it thanks for coming to my ted talk
