[DEVELOPING] The Gauteng Department of Education has revised the death toll from yesterday’s tragic scholar transport accident in Vanderbijlpark to 12, down from the previously reported 14. Authorities confirm that 11 of the deceased have been identified, while one body remains unidentified. One learner who was injured in the crash has since been discharged from hospital. The driver of the scholar transport vehicle has also been discharged from hospital and is currently in police custody as investigations continue. #KayaNews MP
