$IONQ today announced its collaboration with the second annual Creative Challenge by Qollab.xyz. “Qollab is a community-driven effort designed to inspire developers, designers, and creative technologists to explore quantum applications.  The initiative seeks proposals for original, open-source quantum experiments that demonstrate the unique capabilities of quantum computing through creativity, storytelling, interactivity, and technical rigor. Selected teams will receive $50,000 in IonQ quantum compute credits funded by Qollab, as well as direct funding of up to $5,000, plus $20,000 in additional quantum computing credits from IonQ for the first three selected teams.  All selected teams will also be featured and promoted as part of Qollab’s public showcase gallery online. Projects are expected to remain publicly accessible for at least a year and contribute to a growing ecosystem of approachable, real-world quantum use cases. In addition to providing access to quantum compute resources and technical support, IonQ will actively amplify selected projects, as well as participate in the evaluation and judging of all submitted projects. Additionally, IonQ plans to provide mentorships to selected teams, while also giving them the opportunity to present their work to our executive team. This hands-on involvement reflects IonQ’s ongoing commitment to expanding quantum literacy, encouraging open innovation, and accelerating the development of practical quantum use cases across education, art, software, and emerging application domains.” ionq.com/news/ionq-part…

$OKLO Atomic Alchemy Granted U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission License for Isotope Material $OKLO today announced that “the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a materials license to Oklo’s wholly owned subsidiary Atomic Alchemy to handle, process, and distribute isotopes. This is Oklo’s first NRC-issued license and supports the transition from design and planning to real-world execution and progress. Oklo's Atomic Alchemy receives license to acquire, receive, store, process, refine, and distribute isotopes from its Radiochemistry Laboratory in Idaho Falls. The license, granted to Atomic Alchemy after NRC review and onsite inspection of the Idaho facility, authorizes the company to receive, possess, use, store, and conduct chemical and/or mechanical processing, repackaging, manufacturing, and distribution activities involving up to 2 Curies (Cis) of Ra-226. It also authorizes possession, use, and storage of sealed sources of Co-60 and Am-241 for instrument and shield calibration and testing. By recovering and processing material such as disused radium sources, currently managed as waste, Atomic Alchemy expects to create a valuable feedstock to support medical isotope production, including targeted alpha therapy supply chains.” “Demand for critical isotopes is rising, but U.S. supply remains limited,” says Oklo CEO and co-founder Jacob DeWitte. “This work helps create a more resilient and dependable domestic supply chain of isotopes and supports the transition from early operations to durable, commercial isotope production in the United States.” oklo.com/newsroom/news-…
