I was having a conversation the other day about how the major difference between a Met Gala and an AMVCA is just how deeply intentional the “Identity” of one is. When both events happen, the outfits that were showcased on the red carpets both trend, ofcourse one on a more global scale than the other, but looking beyond how far they both trend. The stories and emotions that come out of one feels deeper in meaning, it feels like you’re watching history, like you’re witnessing a point in a legacy. It’s just a difference in the Brand Identities of both events and how that identity is portrayed every single time.
