@channelstv Academic stability may have improved, but economic reality is also a major factor. Many families simply can’t afford foreign tuition and living costs anymore because of inflation, naira depreciation and rising hardship.

@sowore @KwankwasoRM You are too big for this. Attacking everyone only exposes a negative side of you. When it comes to politics everybody can't be your enemy at the same time, you need both the good & bad to succeed, You learn what to avoid from the bad ones and what to improve on from the good ones

Mr. @KwankwasoRM, if your "daughter" now has to tell you who to work for in 2027, then perhaps she, who obviously knows better than you, according to your own postulation, should be the one running for President. Clearly, you have become politically atrophied. Liars shall not make heaven! #AACOurParty

@BashirAhmaad During PDP tenure, 3k was enough to pay my TP from Aba to my village, to and fro... but today 20k is not enough to pay my TP from my village to Aba to and fro. What are you really staying? Who took away your sense of judgement? do you think we are morons?

When it comes to transformation and infrastructure, the difference between the PDP and our great party, the APC, is like the difference between the sky and the ground. The results are visible for all to see in roads, bridges, rail, airports, housing and other critical sectors.

I have never seen a video of this man properly dissecting a problem and proffering a sound solution. There is no video of him attempting any critical evaluation or intelligently discussing any of the perennial issues militating against the country's progress. It is always the same regurgitated poverty statistics and empty rhetoric. It would be a generational mistake to hand over the presidency to this kind of political fraud.

@fkeyamo You can negotiate for 50 years if you want, I think you have all it takes to do so... It's an NDC decision so you can get your party on board to zone it to the south for 50 years I will vote for you or your candidate...

THE NDC AND ITS ‘419’ DECISION. The decision of NDC to zone its Presidential ticket to the south for JUST ONE TERM (emphasis on ‘one term’) is an audacious attempt to hoodwink Nigerians. It reminds us of the undertaking by Jonathan in 2011 to serve just one full term and quit. So, what happens if Peter Obi changes his Party, assuming he wins, or as leader of the NDC he gets the NEC of the Party to reverse the decision, if in the unlikely event he wins? This is an insult on the sensibilities of Nigerians; it smacks of outright desperation and actually accentuates the dilemma of the opposition a whole in the 2027 Presidential elections. It is just a joke taken too far; it is nothing but political 419.

Students of Anambra state university donates 10.7 million naira for Tinubu’s re-election bid They endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office and donated N10.7m towards the purchase of his expression of interest form. The students said the endorsement was in recognition of the impact of the loan scheme on access to higher education and the reduction of financial burdens on students. Speaking during the presentation at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus, on Friday, the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council in Anambra State, Ifeanyichukwu Chukwuemeka, described the gesture as a show of appreciation for Tinubu’s educational reforms and youth-focused policies. Chukwuemeka said, “We, the beneficiaries of the NELFUND scheme, are collectively endorsing President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office. This is in recognition of the transformative impact of the NELFUND’s access to higher education and the alleviation of financial burdens for Nigerian students. “We are also donating the sum of ₦10,735,500 to support the purchase of the expression of interest form for him. This gesture is a symbolic expression of gratitude for the President’s bold educational reforms, youth-oriented policies, and commitment to expanding access to tertiary education opportunities across the nation.

Honestly, this is the best time for Obi to step down for GEJ if he truly believes in Nigeria, as he has always said. This is the moment to show GEJ that respect and support him for the greater good. Peter, please step down for GEJ.

There is no Nigerian politician, dead or alive, as desperate as Peter Obi. His desperation has exposed the level of his inconsistencies. Imagine a man who has never even occupied the office of Vice President already negotiating for a one-term presidency. This is the same person who once swore publicly that if he ever left APGA, let his family perish, those were his exact words. Today, look at where he is: moving from one political platform to another and making another round of empty promises. A man who cannot keep his own political vows now wants Nigerians to trust him with national promises. Too bad.

@KafinHausaa According to records available in public space, NDC registration started in 2017, and was halted due to a logo resemblance issue as flagged by INEC, so how did NDC get access to the INEC server to start the registration in the first place if the EC15A form was not paid for?

BE PROBABLY INFORMED ON THE NDC MATTER Let me educate ignorant Nigerians who have been castigating me on the NDC matter. Please read this with an opened mind. No political association can be registered as a political party without filling INEC’s Form EC15A, which is INEC’s Party Registration Form. This form is online and an association pays a mandatory N2m Administrative Fee to be issued with INEC’s Access Code with which the association will open the portal and make its application. In the application it will upload the party name, acronym, logo, constitution, manifesto, names, addresses, ID cards, passport photographs, Indigene letters, etc. of its national executive members, address of national office headquarters, INEC’s payment receipt, bank account details, a sworn affidavit of truth, etc. It is these documents that INEC will examine to see whether they comply with the requirements of the constitution, Electoral Act and its Guidelines. And until these documents are uploaded on INEC portal and INEC examines them and finds them to have 100% complied, it cannot register the association as a political party, because that’s the requirement of the law. But in the case of NDC, it DID NOT pay the N2m mandatory Administrative Fee, it did not collect the Access Code, therefore it did not FILL the Form EC15A and it did not upload anything - ANYTHING AT ALL AS REQUIRED BY LAW. So what documents did they put before the Lokoja FHC for court to say they fulfilled ALL the requirements of the constitution, the law and the guidelines? I have obtained the Certified True Copy of all documents and processes NDC placed before the court, including the judgment, and they naturally exhibited not one of these fundamental documents. NOT ONE! And it couldn’t because it did not fill Form EC15A and upload them into INEC’s Registration Portal! The court was thoroughly misled to have made pronouncement without any due regard to these documents, making it a highly pervasive judgement. It’s like someone contesting a presidential or governorship primaries and losing and without filling INEC’s nomination Form EC13A or EC13B respectively and his party submitting to INEC. It means he was not on the ballot. But he goes to the tribunal and files whatever papers he deems fit and prays the tribunal to declare him winner as president-elect or governor-elect and the tribunal gives him a favourable judgement without regard to the facts, ordering INEC to issue him with certificate of return. And INEC said it accepts this court order and will not appeal, and went ahead and issued him the certificate of return. I ask all honest and rational citizens, should Nigerians accept this scenario? NOW THIS IS EXACTLY THE CASE OF THE NDC! But because Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and others have joined the NDC we are told that Nigerians must accept NDC! If ALL NIGERIANS will accept this pervasion I WILL NOT! Period!! …. Dr. Umar Ardo

@EleluAyoola Is Kenneth Okonkwo not an igbo man and a Nigerian? What is stopping him from contesting for the 2027 presidential election? Or is he afraid of not getting up to 1000 votes? What is he really afraid of? It's beginning to look like he is the coward here...

You want to create the impression that only you can become president? Who are you? Is that not an insult to over 20 million Igbo people? You made a third class in the university and now you are saying only you can be president Despite having personal concerns about Obi’s political approach, i repeatedly defended him within the ADC’s National Working Committee. I supported several decisions that were meant to reassure Obi and make him feel comfortable within the party structure. I did not object when Obi allegedly requested that his preferred candidate be appointed National Organising Secretary to supervise the party’s primary election process.I also remained silent when one of Obi’s aides was reportedly placed in charge of the party’s online membership registration system, these concessions were made in the interest of unity and trust. So even when you organise your own primary, you are still afraid? Come on! Obi should step aside, the Igbo ethnic group is filled with many capable and qualified individuals who possess the intelligence, leadership ability, and experience needed to govern Nigeria effectively. No single individual should be made to appear indispensable, especially in a country with a large pool of talented leaders from different backgrounds. KENNETH OKWONKWO

GEJ is working for Peter Obi. And everything you're seeing now is all part of their plan B. Peter Obi and GEJ agreed for Obi to contest under NDC. And GEJ would join ADC and collect the presidential ticket from Atiku. Then, some weeks to the election, GEJ would collapse all structures and endorse Obi.

Since Peter Obi left the coalition, he hasn’t gained any new useful supporter; instead, he keeps losing key and intelligent people around him. They claim to have registered over 10 million virtual members in NDP, yet those numbers can’t translate into real political strength, that’s why they are afraid of primaries. It’s self-deception at its peak. As 2026/2027 approaches, some of his own inner circle members will campaig against him, and that’s when everyone will finally see how empty that man truly is.
