Pakistan keeps appointing a player as captain, and just as he gains experience and learns from setbacks, he’s removed and replaced with someone new. That constant cycle makes it hard to build any real leadership continuity. In my view, Babar looked like Pakistan’s most composed and mature captain in the PSL. He understood the game situation, managed players well, and led with stability. By contrast, the players management has rotated into the role,Shan, Shaheen, Agha,are still struggling to cement their place in the playing XI. It’s difficult for a captain to lead effectively if his own spot isn’t secure. Given that, I think Babar should be given the captaincy back. Consistency in leadership matters, especially in red-ball cricket.
