🚨 Gov. Janet Mills says she’s suspending her campaign for Senate in Maine. “While I have the drive and passion, commitment and experience, and above all else – the fight – to continue on, I very simply do not have the one thing that political campaigns unfortunately require today: the financial resources. That is why today I have made the incredibly difficult decision to suspend my campaign for the United States Senate.”

Maine, let’s send an oyster farmer to the U.S. Senate—and kick out Susan Collins.

Graham Platner isn’t just our best and only chance to beat Susan Collins, he’s a good, decent man who’s struggled and grown and is always trying to do better. I hope everyone with reservations takes a little time to get to know the real life version of him, not what the algorithm throws in our faces. Clearly, that’s what so many people in Maine have done - from all different walks of life and political persuasions.

Something you're seeing today is that one of the signature characteristics of the left insurgents is they are very graceless about winning. They got what they wanted in Maine, but instead of pivoting to bring people in and beat Susan Collins they're doing ongoing factionalism.

Politics is 90% timing — and Mills’ timing was off from the beginning. Her decision to wait until the end of the year to get in the race, rather than jump in over the summer like Sherrod Brown or Roy Cooper, set her up for failure.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to call this the greatest piece of prediction market content created to date.

Profoundly Moving. Start to Finish. Thank You @BenSasse for Your Personal Courage and Showing What it Means to Love Your Family and Love God🙏🏻

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?
