An Atlanta-area police chief accessed Flock cameras 500 times to track the movements of his ex-girlfriend and her teenage daughter. At least 50 cops have been similarly charged with misusing Flock "including to stalk women without their knowledge or consent"

Abortion pills via teleheath are extremely important for bodily autonomy. They are a lifeline for Southerners living in rural areas and working class people trying to navigate the web of abortion bans! npr.org/2026/06/22/nx-…

“There is a firmly established constitutional right to travel, but unfortunately that does not mean that the state will not do everything in its power to infringe on people’s bodily autonomy." - Elizabeth Ling of @ifwhenhow We keep us safe. That starts with not talking to cops.

There are no public defenders available to these families, and the process to get your kids back can takes months; half take longer than a year and the average time is almost 22 months. It's actually a miracle the Buttigiegs got their kids back after just a day.

CPS has a wild amount of power with even fewer guardrails than law enforcement and the people they target have fewer rights to challenge it. If this is how they treat a wealthy white couple like the Buttigiegs, imagine what they do to poor Black and immigrant families
The Washington Post@washingtonpost

Exclusive: Officials who separated Pete Buttigieg from his young twins last month relied on a vague and unsubstantiated allegation from an accuser authorities later deemed possibly “mentally unstable,” according to unreported police records. wapo.st/4fp08pJ
