I've spent the last 3+ years trying to decide what lore, if any, I want to make.
My other OCs though I have given lore. (Just gotta actually write it out)

Give your character's lore, regardless of how much it costs you, your characters deserve to feel lived in and have lives of their own. To have experiences. To live through you and your imagination, to be more than just pieces of art.
