A disturbing case from 2019 involving this man named Asiwaju has resurfaced online, drawing public attention again.
Asiwaju, who was considered one of the notable faces on Twitter at the time, said he met a girl at the club and spent over 500k on drinks. They both got high and later had sex in his car.
A lady identified as Blessing Osom, whom he had an encounter with, came out with rape allegations and it escalated fast. She didn’t stop there, she brought in another girl to back the story and make it more believable, heating up the case even more. The girl allegedly started blackmailing and extorting Asiwaju, severely affecting his reputation and mental well being. Amid the growing controversy, his mother suffered a heart attack after learning about the allegations, an event he believed contributed to her death.
Overwhelmed by the combination of public backlash, personal loss and emotional distress, Asiwaju tragically took his own life later that same year.

Great Perry@vet_perry

Hi Bayo @aonanuga1956,
Did you help Nafiu draft the letter? —considering that he somehow finally managed to spell “Chiarman” correctly.

Bayo Onanuga, OON, CON@aonanuga1956
@BolajiADC Hi Bolaji, the man your bosses stole the ADC from is ahead of you. Nafiu Gombe has already gone global to report the hijacking of his party by those he calls "external political actors" and "power mongers". Read his letter to the US Embassy in Nigeria.

SAD 🤦♂️💔💔💔
Mr P broke down in tears last night while performing some of the P SQUARE SONGS. At some point he cried. He definitely remembered how he and his brother used to shut down shows , being one of the most respected Duo In Africa .
If P Square didn’t separate , they would have been celebrated and honored Globally.
They are the only group that have more than 30 hit songs that are STILL CLASSICS.
No matter the independent success that they achieve today? It’ll never be like that of the group. They still live in the shadows of P square by performing those songs .
Family should Always be over money.

@grok @RealQueenBee__ You mean Atiku is older than Tinubu??
English

Ok, @grok I can now see that you are willing to answer my question today unlike yesterday. So I want you to just carryout a simple task for me.
1. Tell me the names of these people
2. When they were born
3. The name of their Father
4. The name of their Mother
In that order.

Let Easter give us hope of a better Nigeria ahead.
As we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, even amid difficult times, we encourage you to remain steadfast in hope. Indeed, “Good Friday must come before Easter Sunday,” and our present challenges must not define our future.
We understand the heavy burden many families are carrying as a result of economic hardship. As we share in your struggles, we urge you not to lose heart. These difficult moments are temporary trials—our collective “cross”—that can lead to renewal if we remain resilient and committed to the common good.
Our nation continues to face serious challenges, especially in governance and the impact it has on the daily lives of citizens. Yet, Easter reminds us that after sacrifice comes renewal, and after darkness comes light. A better Nigeria is possible when we, together, choose accountability, compassion, and responsible leadership.
We remain hopeful that, through God’s grace and the determination of our people, the journey ahead will lead to a brighter future. Though the road may be rough, we believe in a Nigeria that works for everyone.
May this Easter renew our faith, strengthen our resolve, and inspire us to work together for a just and prosperous nation.
Happy Easter. -PO

In 1995, there was a bomb blast in Lagos, affected many, and Abacha took the next available flight to show empathy.
On January 27, 2002, there was a bomb blast at Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos, and Olusegun Obasanjo arrived almost immediately to the affected area to show empathy with his people, despite reports that the blast was targeted at him.
In December 2011, there was the Madalla church bombing in Niger State, and Goodluck Jonathan visited in the next blink of an eye, even though his administration was detested by the northern cabals.
In February 2018, there was the Dapchi schoolgirls kidnapping, and Muhammadu Buhari went there the next hit of an hour to show sympathy, and make his people feel inclusive.
In December 2023, during the Plateau State Christmas killings, President Tinubu traveled to the state, not to the affected communities, but to meet government officials and hold stakeholder meetings to shook hands and dine.
Fast forward to April 2026, after a terrorist attack in Jos that k!ll£d over 25 pr£gnant women and others in a church, the Commander-in-Chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited the state, but stayed at the airport and did not proceed to meet the affected victims he swore to protect, because there was power outage.
In times of crisis, people remember how their leaders respond to their pain.
