so grateful to my @ussee colleagues & fellow panelists for including me in discussing Ecological Economics in the federal government! Even from many countries away, the conversations were incredibly thought provoking. hopefully next time I'll make it in person :)

even after almost 2 years, I still get a little overwhelmed walking into my office building.. I can't believe how fast 2 years can go (especially in DC!) & I'm so grateful to the AAAS Science Technology Policy Fellowship for bringing me here ✨️

I've been working on a bunch of climate mapping projects these days (most recently Extreme Heat) -- if anyone wants to talk geography & the opportunities & challenges with geospatial climate data, I would be so grateful for discussions 🌎🌏🌍 ⏬️

our paper is a tiny part of a vast landscape of work & thought. I loved drawing from great work by scholars I admire like @MillsNovoa & coauthors critically examining adaptation interventions & @cbradleymorgan + @KristianBrevik questioning human-centering in ag - & so many more!

and in combination with climate mitigation metrics of decreasing the "emissions intensity" of an ag product, while the adaptation objective is increasing the yield of that product.. there's so much to say! (& I'd love to discuss more #degrowth soon) - but for now I'll leave with:
