Our final day of #CatapultWinnipeg23 has been full. We’ve made new relations, shared our aspirations for how we can make each other’s work better.

Yesterday’s welcome was complete even with some classic Winnipeg weather. Looking forward to Day2 of #CatapultWinnipeg23 where we learn from all our @RideauHallFdn project partners from across the country, what they’ve been up to these last few years.

Day 1 was amazing! Meeting the #CatapultCanada community in person was exactly as enriching as we’d hoped it would be. Lots of new connections and opportunities to learn together. #CatapultWinnipeg23

QE Scholars from across the country and around the world talk through some big themes: Mitigating climate change; building inclusive and sustainable economies; improving access to education; and advancing global health and wellness. #QEScholars

@EbunoluwaFalade My response usually depends on how much I value this relationship. If valuable, I'd say "may name is a pretty important part of who I am, so I'll help you get it right."

What is a gentle yet firm way to respond to someone senior to me saying “I cannot say that” after I pronounce my name to them? Today I tried: “it takes practice but it is doable!” I anticipate this may happen on rotations so might as well prep now 😬
