Many of the villagers are actually sung by members of the production and sound staff too! We recorded it whilst adjusting the distance to match the sense of scale of the villagers in the footage. As for the atmosphere of the song, I imagined it as a village song passed down through the generations, so I composed the melody with a sense of antiquity in mind.
