Your entire argument falls apart because the people ICE are after aren’t Americans, and it’s also hilarious liberalism will only defend states rights when it comes to this particular issue, yet will have a cow when it pertains to abortion, weed, or any other set of issues that liberals want legalized/regulated at a federal level. This isn’t some nuanced thing one can defend because of civil liberties. Illegals people don’t belong here, they are illegally here, the country voted for them to go home. It doesn’t matter that anyone voted for them to go home, the law constitutes they must go home and this is the only way a liberal democratic society functions. This is foundational to any Western nation. Any American defending these people should be charged with treason and hanged. Anyone getting in the way of the deportation process should face the wall because it is treason. 0 ifs, ands, or buts. We’re not discussing some nuanced civil liberty issue here, this is foundational to the republic at large. I want states rights to protect from that of federal tyrannical legislation. This particular issue isn’t up for discussion, this is what the Insurrection Act was made for and this admin needs to start mowing down people in Minneapolis.
