Today we burnt close to 50k team tokens worth close to $350k as committed to earlier on. 🔥 These tokens vested over the course of the past few months after a 2 year cliff. Ultimately, selling these tokens never felt right, so we unanimously decided to burn them instead. This also shows our commitment to the project. We will be here building in good and bad markets. 🔫🍌

Was just talking to someone I've worked with in the past and who I've known for years (through crypto) We were talking about the de-evolution of this space. When we started (2017 for me), this space was exciting. There was so much to learn, and most of us spent time sharing information and teaching each other what we learned. People use to call crypto the "wild west" but in hindsight, it was tame compared to the way it is now. There were bad players back then, but they were the minority. Most of the community was energized and hopeful. Fast forward almost 8 years: 90% of this space is garbage. Anyone can pretend to be a developer, influencer, community leader with zero qualifications. Many of those who entered after 2021 are willing to do just about anything for quick money. That includes rugging, stealing, lying, impersonating.....anything goes. There are still legitimate projects out there, building potentially game-changing products, but liquidity is constantly being misdirected to high-stakes gambles that typically turn out to be rugs. Why? Because this is an immature, irresponsible population. There's a deficit of investors and a surplus of gamblers. People live under the false expectation that they will become wealthy overnight. It's a lie and it's ruining the space. 90% of you will walk away from this industry with less money than you started with while working that 9-5 5% of the industry will take most of the money you lose by manipulating you. The other 5% will park most their money in projects that build and generate revenue. Those people will be set for life in 5-10 years. This is something that most don't comprehend. If a project generates revenue, it's a potential investment. If it only generates "community", hype or fomo, it's a gamble. If you want to gamble, I can point you towards a slot machine. At least it won't fill your head with false promises, then spend your money on a Lambo from a Dubai dealership. This place needs a drastic cleansing. I hope it comes before it's too late.

While legals are happening and we take every action possible to fix this problem. I want to lay out facts and events so community can see what is happening. If Ocean as stand alone project did this it would be classed as a rug pull! (Only my opinion)… On May 25, 2023, the Ocean Protocol foundation minted and transferred 719,100,000 OCEAN tokens to 0x4D9B76Df13DF257A674AEc7Ec7232741A6E73883.  On July 1, 2025, 661,218,319 OCEAN tokens were exchanged for 286,456,967.46 FET,  On July 3 and July 14, 2025 a total of 76,500,106 FET tokens were transferred to:  0xc248340B5ea577Ce21a924EaE23fAB587595a194  Of this amount, 21,200,000 FET were subsequently transferred to Binance and 55,300,000 FET to 0xfB19085AC3951cB0AF7B5A6126F4bfF8E2D1F8eE (an address linked to GSR Markets) On July 3 and July 14, 2025, a total of 13,500,000 FET tokens were transferred to address: 0x65a3C3e81Ba0efa17AF252a6B4CcE669deA9E595 (funding of this account came from EXAGROUP) the balance remaining in 0x4D9B7 was 196,457,400 FET tokens subsequently moved in a batch transaction to thirty newly created Gnosis Safe accounts on August 31, 2025. These have now mostly moved to Binance. More info to follow! I urge Binance, GSR and Exagroup to investigate these transfers and do the right thing! I stand united with the community and working to get this resolved asap. Open to any conversation with Ocean protocol, private or public!

Ocean's unilateral decision to exit the Alliance without any prior warning or discussion has raised many questions that need to be answered. While a legal process is in place, in my personal capacity, I have the following immediate questions and I also urge the ASI and Ocean communities to ask the same: 1. If Ocean were planning to leave the Alliance, why did you convert all Ocean community reward tokens in bulk a few months ago? 2. Considering Ocean confirmed more than a year ago that these tokens were community reward tokens controlled by OceanDAO, disclose who controls and who are the signatories of the SAFE wallet name OceanDAO?x.com/whalertalk/sta… 3. The tokens were disbursed to multiple wallets which are apparently now owned/controlled by Ocean Expedition ("OE"). Disclose how OE is managed and owned? As Ocean has left the Alliance, do they not agree that the right thing for them to do is to return the community rewards tokens ($fet) so the community can decide what to do with them, ie burn them, redistribute them or lock them up etc? $ASTER was one of those "free money on the floor 5 times a year, your job to pick it up" type of trades. Some more colour: - CZ actually traded on the platform via his publicly doxxed wallet before. - He has also endorsed this project on numerous occasions, via tweets, quotes, and actual replies: - He also tweeted a chart of the interface with the ASTER token page, which [I dont think?] he hasnt done before - The CZ bio change along with the DOJ and Binance nearing a deal regarding their their compliance oversight, all just added to the narrative - The Definalist crew never really put their names behind specific tokens, rather lists/narratives: however they did it with $ASTER, as Im pretty sure they held a lot of the supply and were not looking for a few % - I had never seen so much activity in Chinese related circles so early on for a project - This morning, Binance Wallet also moved forward the $APX -> $ASTER token swap. The only reason why they would do this is because they wants transfers live which most likely = a nance listing [perp and/or spot]. I have been clipping out along the way for various reasons - But still holding a bit of a bag. Everything lined up here. Everything.
