Today was incredibly special. We gave Barbara the send off she would have loved. In fact she was involved in the planning of it. From the balloon and bunting draped coffin to the tributes spoken by myself, Tamsyn and Natalie to the wonderful poem written by the grandchildren and read so confidently by 10 year old Scarlett. Everything was as we would have wished it to be. We thank Mark F H Rae and Helen Rae along with their staff who conducted a superb funeral. We thank David Phillips for being a perfect celebrant and The Glendower Hotel for a great venue after the service. To have over 130 people in attendance, many of whom came long distances, showed the love that was felt for Barbara Our support in her memory for Ovarian Cancer Action has now reached over £8000 Barbara you will always be loved. From Hudad... Beautiful, brave, amazing Barbara, lost her 4 year battle against the evil that is cancer, on Saturday 7 February. We are devastated and heartbroken by our loss. So, here's Humum and Hudad on their wedding day in 2018. Also when they had a TWO seater car!!! They didn't even know me then, I was only 1! There would have been no room for me in that car! Humum is very peaceful, comfortable and pain free. Thank you for all your thoughts and good wishes. Xx
