@DanPriceSeattle But Canada does this. It's called welfare and it is about $900 a month. We still have a massive homelessness problem 🤷🏻‍♀️ Check out the downtown eastside in Vancouver BC 😭

Denver gave homeless people $1,000 a month, no strings attached. A year later: *45% secured housing *Taxpayers saved $590k because of fewer visits to the hospital, jail and shelters *People used the money on groceries, rent, hygiene, clothes and transportation *Mental health improved and they could spend more time with their kids and grandkids Amazing what happens when you give people a chance

If you or someone you know is in office furniture sales could you talk to them about donating chairs and comfortable benches to hospital emergency rooms. I know we expect our tax dollars to pay for this but it’s not happening. Donating chairs would be amazing. 🙏🏻

Sick of still hearing about too many tests, when will we learn. We have to stop over testing kids, you don’t need a million of the same data points from a million tests in a school year. Remove the road blocks, test effectively & let teachers teach & let students enjoy learning!

@pwharris Calculating percentages is a function of multiplication. Multiplication is commutative. So 20% of 69 is approximated as 14 (.2x70 or simply 2x7).

@howie_hua There's no right or wrong way but appropriate and error proof way should be this imho as columns are organized in this particular pattern.

@iluvbeansy @HarvardBiz Yes! I’ve been thinking a lot about identity development and leadership. (How do we decide who we are and who we want to be? )What do you think were experiences/conditions that helped you be less defensive of your “turf”?

@realreporter So far my symptoms have been: fever, chills, headache, bad bodyaches, dry cough, coughing fits causing spasms in my diaphragm. I’m on day four and I still can’t really get out of bed. And the highest my fever is was 102. I had Covid in January and it was nowhere near this bad.

@realreporter Wow! I am so sorry. You are made of tough stuff! Take care. I am on 2nd horrible flu. All the markers of Covid but two negative antigen tests. I would say, on day four, this dry cough is probably the worst. I can’t take a breath without going into a coughing fit.

#bcpoli It took me 9 days to get a negative covid test. I wonder how people, including HCW, manage to come to work on day six. My symptoms were oxygen issues, headache, fever and sweats. Chest and nasal congestion but thank God the nightmare is over.
