I didn’t have seven kids, I had two.
I didn’t have food stamps, I worked two jobs, sometimes three.
I didn’t use day care, their mother raised them at home while I worked my ass off to make that happen.
I never expected anyone else to pay my bills.
I bought a home that I could afford, never took a second mortgage and it will be paid off in two more years.
Now, both of my children, with the values we taught them, make awesome contributions to society and have given me five grandkids that make me very proud.
Now, retired and on a fixed income, having done what I was taught to be right, am now paying for YOUR food, YOUR rent, YOUR childcare and YOUR medical needs.
…………….. and you want me to feel sorry for you???
