@sarmag77 Because Git tracks lines, not code structure. It just compares raw lines of text.

In git, why does any kind of block change, like adding the existing piece of code inside a nested block, result in the existing piece of code coming as a new change? From git's point of view, it should just detect spaces added to the extra indentation.
