Shopify app worth checking out: Downpay—for offering deposit payments on @Shopify. I’ve been exploring ways to sell my own low-code design and development services through the Lucid Commerce Shopify site. This morning my cofounder @DenisZgonjanin responded to a customer with "Can you tell me a bit more about how you'd plan to use mix and match bundles with Downpay deposits, so I can pass this information onto our dev team?". I laughed out loud. He is the dev team. 😂

@AaronJNosbisch @drinkbrez Have you ever tried just deferring payment entirely to avoid the conversion hit (with an app like Downpay)? Set the product up with a 0$ deposit, it vaults the payment on file, then charge when you ship. That way it's not a waitlist, people just checkout with no upfront payment.

We’re about out of inventory - 2-3 weeks for product… pulling back spend & crying on the inside should I just keep pushing and make it exceptionally clear that it won’t ship till 10/15??? 🫠
