@dennishegstad Thanks, seems like accurate inventory is the big challenge. if there are solutions I wonder what’s the hold up Seems aligned to Shopify’s mission of giving tools to small businesses that the big guys have. Eg. you can buy online and pick up in store with Best Buy, Walmart etc.

it would be pretty cool if you could buy a product on @shopify, then get provided a QR code to be scanned inside a retail store at their POS to apply a rebate/coupon is this possible? i’ve thought about this for 3+ years and have not seen any solutions that make it seamless to clarify with an example: I bought a truff hot sauce or olipop from their DTC website. I plan on grocery shopping later at wholefoods. Instead of waiting on shipping, I get a QR code that allows me to pick up my item while grocery shopping. The QR applies a 100% discount on the line item. Funds settlement is the ?

Our DTC Average Order Value (AOV) has 4x'd, transforming our ability to scale the channel. How? • Launching Products at Higher Retails • Meta Ads for Bundle Discounts • Free Shipping: From $20 to $50 Carts • Personalization Upsell • Website Exclusive Drops • TikTok Shop Driving Demand for High ASP Products My friend @andrewjfaris has said AOV is an overrated marketing metric. I don't disagree. However, Amazon native brands must find a way to spend $20+ to profitably acquire a customer for DTC to scale. Increasing AOV can increase margins. In 2020, our strategy was to compete with Amazon on single unit orders. We now let Amazon have the best value prop, they have the best supply chain in the world. Our DTC margins explode with multiple unit orders. It costs $12 to ship 1 item and $14 to ship 3 items in one box. Rewarding customers for multiple unit orders has really helped increase AOV. Our most recent explosion in our AOV is because we could scale bundle and save ads more than we've ever been able to.
