Unrest: East London. Protesters have torched vehicles and buildings. Reports say property belonging to foreign nationals are being targeted in protest against the installation of a Nigerian king in the Eastern Cape.

You’re all foreigners in their eyes, you think “favouritism” in Xenophobic exists lol 😃
The shop owner that got assaulted was Tanzanian. They didn’t ask him where he was from before assaulting him 👍🏾

Ibos are just too audacious
Just imagine what they are doing in another man’s land. If it’s not this forced union by the foolish colonial masters, this is how we will be chasing them away from Yoruba land too with all the nonsense they’ve been doing and still doing here.
Very shameless set of humans

We need to stop trying to create kingdoms in other people’s countries. It really can’t be hard to live by the norms of the countries that we migrate to. And if you want your own kingdom, please return to Nigeria, find your way to your village and ask to have your own kingdom established. Some state governors have been known to establish new kingdoms.

@Miz_Ruraltarain So you mean they travelled from Zulu to be knocked down

I am concerned about this style of reporting. This is retaliation after a protester was knocked down by a car driven by a Nigerian national allegedly involved in drug dealing.
In South Africa, we respect everyone's right to peaceful protest, even if we do not share the same goals. That individual is an instigator and an agent provocateur. Reporting must not be one-sided; it must be impartial and fair to show all perspectives.
