We are thrilled to welcome our latest sports intern @im_samant as part of the 2025 Editorial Photography Internship Program, supported by our imaging partner @CanonUSA! In its second year, the program extends the opportunity to another aspiring content creator and builds on its goal of nurturing the next generation of visual storytellers.
Over nine months, Ish will work alongside Getty Images’ world‑class photographers, editors and content experts—gaining first‑hand experience covering editorial and commercial events and learning the ins and outs of the editorial photography business. Ish has quickly been immersed in this mentorship experience, already covering events like the US Open, preseason NFL and regular season WNBA and MLB games and events.

44 years of telling the great stories of Aggie Athletics 👍 From 1981-2025, the media changed but AC’s love for A&M and dedication to our athletes did not. AC and his team were responsible in promoting Johnny Manziel’s chances for the Heisman, making him the first freshman to win the trophy. 🏆 Cannon was inducted into the College Sports Information Directors of America in 2014 and in 2018 received the Arch Ward Award. 🏅 Thank you AC for your hard work and dedication to Texas A&M Athletics! He won’t be gone for long, though! He will serve in a part-time role as the assistant to the AD and historian on Coach Elko’s staff. More on AC’s journey → aggi.es/4nkp7wi #GigEm
