The family and friends of Imam Haron walked to the Caledon Square Police station today where he died in detention. They held a prayer at the pavement from where his 13-year-old son and community members use to call out to him, asking about his condition. #Imam123days @ImamHaron

Imam Haron was detained under the newly minted Terrorism Act of 1967, which gave the Apartheid State wide yielding powers to detain activists without trial or due process. Whilst detained the Imam was severely beaten and tortured.
