You choose a secret word.
The AI knows it too.
Its job is to avoid saying it.
Yours is to get it to say it anyway.
Different difficulty levels change how defensive the model is, from easy to nearly impossible.
A simple game, but a fun way to test prompting, creativity, and persistence.

I think we are witnessing the biggest explosion in software creation in history.
New website creation is up 40% year on year. New iOS apps are up nearly 50%. GitHub code pushes in the US jumped 35% and in the UK around 30%.
All of these metrics were flat for years before late 2024. The entire graph looks like a hockey stick.
You no longer need a six month runway and a dev team to ship something real.
We see this in our metrics as well!
People who never wrote a line of code are building and launching apps.
The barrier to building software just disappeared.
What matters now is knowing what to build and the taste to build it right.

somebody built this and it's honestly so much fun css-studio.app.space

Every time we build a new app,
we rebuild civilization from scratch.
New auth.
New database.
New payments.
New messaging.
And every time we try a new product,
we fracture ourselves.
New login.
New identity.
New graph.
New history.
We’ve mistaken repetition for progress.
The future isn’t more isolated tools.
It’s a shared foundation —
so strong that builders stop rebuilding infrastructure,
and people stop rebuilding themselves.
When that layer exists,
creation accelerates.

So many opportunities for building real companies 100x faster than it was possible just a year ago.
The key is to have a strong foundation for auth, privacy, payments, scalability and integrations.

Software engineering makes up ~50% of agentic tool calls on our API, but we see emerging use in other industries. As the frontier of risk and autonomy expands, post-deployment monitoring becomes essential. We encourage other model developers to extend this research.

I got tired of the “what was that run called again?” problem.
So I built a personal trail-map app for my Utah trip on DeepSpace: pick a resort, open the map, log the runs you loved (and the ones you never want to ski again). Snowbird, Alta, Deer Valley, Brighton, Solitude, Snowbasin.
What’s the single best run at Snowbird or Alta? I’ll ski the top replies and report back.

I recreated ReciMe in 3 prompts on @deepdotspace .
I have always preferred home cooked food -- it is healthier and genuinely tastes better. There are some repeated recipes my partner and I cook, but we like to try some new stuff on the weekend.
We have been using our Signal chat as the repo for our saved Instagram recipes until last night when I started getting bombarded with adds for ReciMe or some similar app. So, this morning, I went ahead and I created my own Recipe Tracker on @deepdotspace .
You can give it a try here hyperfoodie.app.space (if you don't have a DeepSpace account yet, make sure to sign up on the waitlist or comment FOODIE below for an early access code).

NYC has insane AI talent density, but barely any high-quality AI events.
Meanwhile, SF has 5–6 every week. That gap doesn’t make sense.
So we are trying to change it.
We are hosting a curated meetup for serious AI builders & startup enthusiasts.
First one is on Feb 27!
We are starting small and will slowly scale it up.
Comment or DM if you interested. Share it with your NYC AI friends!

I’m putting together a quaint dinner in NYC for some movers and shakers at the end of the month. Partiful coming soon! ✨

@shiftj thats cool -- you can try building it on deep.space and forget about auth, payments, compliance and discoverability

At a YC dinner last week, a founder casually mentioned they're not hiring sales anymore.
"So.. how do you do outbound?"
"14 AI agents."
Thought they were messing with me, but they showed me the dashboard - it's real.
Agents handling:
- Onboarding
- Support → feedback
- Feedback → PRDs
- PRDs → features
- Features → marketing
- Marketing → lookalike targeting
- Outbound to those lookalikes
The entire growth loop. Semi-automated.
Asked if I could use it: "Custom. internal only."
Fair enough.

Update: Built my own version of it.
First pass took two weeks. It's running now.

We love learning languages at @deepdotspace (I think Donald and I speak 7 or 8 ourselves). While our approaches to learning differ, we both used tools like anki to solidify our vocabulary.
Somebody from our team shares our passion and they built fluently.app.space using @deepdotspace . Give it a go, it is quite flexible and it covers a good number of languages (more to come!)

Everyone’s celebrating “AI-built apps.”
But most of what’s getting built right now isn’t software — it’s demos.
AI collapsed the cost of generating code. It didn’t collapse the cost of turning an idea into something people actually use: distribution, integrations, trust/security, payments, cross-platform, collaboration. The bottleneck didn’t disappear — it moved.
That’s the bet behind DeepSpace: if we want a real golden age of software, we need to remove the barriers between creation and usage, not just make prototyping cheaper.
